After a long time i got a chance to visit Jangalak (Afghan Refugee receiving center) in Kabul today 7-9-2013. It is really sad to know that despite the ground reports of Afghanistan facing worse security problems, the mass deportation still Continues.
On 28th August 2013 a charter flight from UK had arrived to Kabul carrying 40 afghan asylum seekers. and another flight from Denmark with 6 asylum seekers.
Another 6 people had arrived from Norway on 3rd September 2013. I got a chance to talk to one of the guys from UK and one from Norway. it was a brief talk about the deportation and soon will be shared with full detail about their deportation stories.
Hassan was the guy deported from Norway. Hassan’s mother and brother still lives in Norway, but he was sent out Norway on suspicions of working in black. He said he was arrested from his friend’s house and told that he was working in black. But they could not provide any sort of reason or proof for that.
Hassan said; he struggled alot to tell them that he didn’t work any where and he can’t be sent back to Afghanistan because his family still lives in Norway. but they had not cared about his words and instead used force to put him in the car and take him to the airport.
This reminds of the stories we hear from Iran. Iranian forces while deporting Afghans don’t care about the member of the families and deport the person where ever they catch. many fathers were sent without their children and wife, and many brothers were sent without their other family members.
This is the same that had happened to Hassan. which makes me think what is this flag raising of Human rights for? What is the difference between a country like Norway and a country like Iran, which we suppose to say; they are violating Human Rights. then what is Norway doing?
