RadioSweden; European Union has criticized Sweden over force deportation. EU has accused Sweden over not having any proper supervision over the flights. they say most of the deportation take place secretly. EU has also warned that;’ European Union’s border control department ( Froentex ) will suspend cooperations with Sweden, if Sweden doesn’t stop this method of deportation
Soren Clerton Cheif of border inspection at police department has said; without the cooperation of Forentex, it will cost Sweden millions of kroners over the deportations.
In the last 5 years, Sweden has 90 cases of force deportation. In most of the deportations, Charters flights has been used. and all the cost of the deportations has been paid by European Union’s border control department ( Froentex ).
Forentex has demanded to decrease the number of these method of deportations, and also has asked to at have atleast one person as a neutral observer on each of the flights.
Sweden is one of the 13 European countries that hasn’t considered these demands.
Sweden border protections police say; they have invited some NGOs, including Amnesty International’ to play the rule of observers in these flights, but so far all the Organizations has given a negative response to the call
